John Deere S690 Combine

HERE
Overview: The All new S690 combine is the largest of the new S-Series of harvesters produced by John Deere. The S690 boasts a 13.5 Liter engine that pushes out 617 HP. The all new fold and go grain tank holds a maximum of 400 bushels of grain, which allows you to go longer without having to dump. Every second counts, and the unload rate is 3.8 bushels per second helps get the grain out of your tank and into the semi or wagon faster than ever from a John Deere combine.

Review: There isn't a lot not to like from the new S-Series. Everything has been upgraded from the cab to the chaff spreader. Everything is bigger, faster, and more efficient. The controls are very user friendly enough for a thirteen year old child could learn them in a matter of minutes. It even has a refrigerator to store your food, so you don't have to stop to have someone drop off your lunch or dinner. John Deere has one of the best costumer services to back up their products, so if you are looking for a combine to handle tough conditions and be efficient while doing it, look no further than the John Deere S690.

Case IH 9230 Axial-Flow Combine

HERE

Overview: The 9230 Axial-Flow combine is the largest of the new 30-Series of grain harvesters to come off the Case IH equipment line. The 9230 is a very impressive combine. It has a 12.9 Liter engine that provides 560 HP. The new Axial-Flow combines have an unload rate of a blazing 4.5 bushels per second, which is nearly a bushel per second faster than John Deere's brand new S690 harvester. The new 30-Series is all about efficiency. Compared to the old 20-Series the new 30 Series is 10% more fuel efficient, saving you money every time you use it.

Review: I really like the 9230. It isn't the Arnold Schwarzenegger of combines by any means, but it has enough power and grain storage to get the harvesting done efficiently. The new 30-Series is advertised to have the largest and quietest cab in the market, which is a very important feature, because comfort can relieve the stress of long days in a combine. The controls on the 9230 are very user friendly, which makes it easy to just get in and go. I wouldn't advise this combine if you were looking for a combine that will take off the most acres in a day, but if you are looking for a very efficient combine that has good features than I would advise the Case IH 9230 Axial-Flow combine.

New Holland CR9090 Twin Rotor Combine

HERE
Overview: New Holland combines are known for their size. When the CR9090 came out in 2008 it was the largest combine available on the market. It features a 13 Liter Turbo Compound engine that can push out 591 HP. It has a fold out grain tank that can hold 355 bushels of grain, and an unload rate of 3.2 bushels per second. The Twin Rotor system provides more centrifical force than just a single rotor that are standard on other brands.

Review: The CR9096 is a really good combine. It has a lot of power under the hood, and it has a very efficient separating system. I personally do not like how the controls are set up though. There are  lot of little buttons, and the main drive stick is very large and it looks like it is hard to grab. At 3.2 bushels per second the unload speed is slower than both the John Deere S690 and the Case IH 9230 combines. I would expect New Holland to come out with a new series of harvesters that are way ahead of the competitors like they did when the CR9090 came out.
